A protocol for conveniently managing information. The kit establishes protocol for type of information transferred, in what format, at what rate, and where. It also establishes a protocol for electrical requirements and timing, BITE, and maintenance and control logic standards. Once installed, the kit provides a standard interface to install an ARINC 628 Part 3-compliant buyer-furnished IFE system for audio functionality, passenger services functions, video, and games.

Benefits and savings you can count on:

Complete, easy-to-follow instructions for interface installation -- The kit includes a service bulletin and kit of parts containing cabin management services systems software and revisions to the airplane weight and balance, flight, and maintenance manuals; airplane wiring diagrams; and electrical loads analysis.
