On 8-11 June, the Hornet Industry Team and the Royal Malaysian Air Force will sponsor the 13th annual Hornet International Conference, a four-day event. Each year, a current Hornet operator community serves as the co-sponsor for this important event. The first international purchaser of the F/A-18 was the Canadian Forces, who co-hosted the first Hornet International Conference in Canada in 1995. In 2008, the Finnish Air Force co-sponsored the 12th conference in San Diego, California. This year, once again, Hornet operators from around the world are planning to attend.
Topics will be presented by experts from each user community. Through this cooperative exchange of ideas, we hope to promote a broader knowledge of the Hornet and its capabilities. In addition, we also hope to create a sense of cooperation among the worldwide Hornet operator community and, to that end, have planned social occasions as detailed on the last page.
